Temperature Thumbwheel on Dash ??
In the middle of the dash on my A8 is a thumb wheel that has a red and blue dot on either side. It is located right above the button for the emergency flashers. I assume this is some type of temperature control but I can find no reference in the cars manual.
Can anyone tell me what this control does.

In a heating situation, in the "blue" position, it allows outside air (cool) thru, vise-
versa, in cooling, in the "red" position, it limits cooling air and brings in outside air (warm). Try it and see how it works. It just allows you some additional control over the "brain".
