Took my new S8 on a ski trip
Went skiing last week and decided to take my new S8 instead of the Avant. I just couldn't leave it sitting in the garage during a 200 mile road trip, especially now that I have Dunlop Winter Sports mounted for the winter. The snow tires handle amazingly well. Thanks to all in the Forum for advising me to get them! I now have close to 3000 miles on the car, and it just an amazing machine. I love every minute of it.
My baby did have to sleep outside for the first time, however.

It got very dirty, but still looked good in front of the Inn (The Pitcher Inn near Sugarbush, VT).

Looks like you had perfect conditions, both ...
.
for skiing and a winterized S8.
An S8 with winter tires does have amazing performance and inspires much confidence, at least up to the point that the snow's deep enough to turn the car into a snowplow.
