Transmission squealing...HELP :(
Hey guys, I have done some searching but am not finding exactly what I am looking for. I have a 98 A8 and the transmission is squealing at start up and when it is cold. At first I thought it was a pully. Unfortunatly I drove it this way for a while. I have had the fluid and filter changed but the noise is still there. Is the pump shot? Can this be replaced or do you think I am in need of a complete rebuild or replacement. What is the best source for parts or rebuilt transmissons. I am in Minneapolis, MN. Thanks again for sharing your wealth of knowledge on this board.
