So I went thru and checked the saip and its good anf functions. Checked saip relay and it also tests good. Still no saip running on cold start. Just wondering where the saip relay gets its signal? Im only getting 3.4 volts on cold start at the # 85 of the relay. Thanks in advance for any help.

I had issues with my SAI system and simply mailed Stuklr the ecu and had it coded it. Mine was a carbon issue and was going to spend more time and money than just getting the system coded out.
If you are wanting to dive deeper you will need a wiring diagram and I would recommend either finding Elsawin or buying the bentley manual.

Rather than the voltage I'd look at the current, that voltage might be just a trace and found on any D2 when the SAI is not running. Maybe look into why the ECU might not be trying the SAI. Are there faults that cause the ECU to disable it? I suppose if the ECU thinks the engine is already warm it won't try to run it. Maybe it also disables it if there is an incorrect flow code or something.
