Are we getting the fingerprint recognition system on US spec A8s?

Most likely next year
First year sales for the new A8L 4.2 in North America will likely be disappointing beause AofA retartedly chose not to offer the following options here: advanced key, with and without one touch memory fingerprint recognition, adaptive cornering lights and standard rain sensing wipers. All of this is standard or available in Europe. If AofA honest to god wants to sell all or most of the later model A8s and A8Ls in North America, they will have no choice but to bring all of this stuff here no later than MY2005! As for security issues with the one touch memory fingerprint recognition, that is the most ignorant bull**** I have ever heard! ROTFLMAO at that one!!!!

Or, much easier, hold a gun to your head and say open it.
Or just take your keys and have it reprogrammed or disabled. After all, your wife, friends or even your mechanic must have some way to drive the car, no?
