In the USA, the 2001-2003 S8 cars had those sport seats, unless you opted for the "luxury" seats.
The "luxury" leather seats look like the seats in '97-'99 A8's, and there are no adjustable front bolsters that move out.
I know what you're talking about. I loved the seats in the UrS4/S6 cars. I sat in a 2001 S8 with the sport seats recently, and I fell in love again. I will not even consider anything else after having sat in those sport seats.
A number of people and dealers have commented that the front adjustable bolsters are rarely found in any seats, and when available they are expensive, etc., but many BMW's have them, and even my 1987 Mustang (which only cost $12K) had them. For long trips, I think its essential.
