Default whats the longest you guyz have gone without changing the oil??
i'm NOT using synthetic oil.. just the regular stuff... i can put on 3000miles in 6weeks, thus $70 oil changes get expensive...

just wondering if i go 7-8000miles between oil changes would be harmful

I normally go 7-8K miles with Mobil 1

10k miles M1, It only happened once and will likely never happen again. I try to stay at 5000.

Default 9 months / 12k kms
My last oil change was in October 2005. And I hardly added any (may be a litre). Drove 12k kilometers since then, Mobil 1 only, dont see being a problem to make a year/20k but with synthetic only.

8k, mobil 1, add ~1 qt at ~5k
