Wheel & Tire Sizes? and/or potholes...
I currently have 16" stock wheels on my car,and am looking at migrating up to the rs4 style wheel. Though I can't decide on the 17" or the 18", then what about tire size. I'd say about 1/4 of my driving is in the city[Philly,NYC,Boston, high pothole cities] thus I want a good sidewall. And the tires I'm looking at currently are the Continental ContiExtremContact[as I don't want to bother w/ snow tires]. What sizes do you recommend?
thanks in advance,
clarke
p.s. on a side note, does anyone have a suggestion on where to get the new armrests[as described on audipages.com] Finding a A8 in a scrap yard isn't the easiest.

mycar

Re: I have 18's but with those driving conditions, stick to 17"
BTW, I live in boston Area and lost few tires last winter@!! One thing I bought is tire/rim protection. Pays off with the 1st tire!!
