I have an early A8 and because it is early I get the feeling that all the directions and info I'm getting from the web refer to slightly later models mine being a 1995, bearing in mind that the A8 didn't arrive in the USA until 97, having said that I'm told that the power relay for the ECU on the D2, is located in the plenim relay box, all I have in that location is one relay #643 which I believe is the ABS relay ?? along with 5 fuses 4x15amf 1x20 amp, these are housed in a push in board ,no box as referred in web info , I get no better info from the handbook , obviously audi don't like you to swap out a relay, and no better in Bentleys Repair Manual, with that Ill put it out there to see if anyone has any other ideas
