I have a 2000 now, and will trade in next year some time, when I see how the car is being accepted. If it is still a sleeper, I will do it, if it becomes the new popular car, and I see lots of them, I will look elsewhere. In northern NJ, S500's, 745i's are simply everywhere, almost as common as minivans and SUVs. No A8s though to speak of, I've seen maybe 6 in the past year.

What's the difference between the 02/03 & 04 A8L??

Is it worth the price difference in getting a left over 02/03 rather than an 04 A8L?

I believe the performance of the '04 A8 may surpass the '03 S8. See x-post.
