Yes, but
not an A6.
225/55-17 was an option for the A8; see the table <A HREF="http://www.audipages.com/upgrades/tiresizeoptions.html">here</a> on audipages.
This tire is too tall, though, for an A6. It's identical in diameter to the 245/45-18, the last tire in this table of <A HREF="https://forums.audiworld.com/a6/msgs/110254.phtml">A6/S6 tire options</a>.

Just switched to them from the OEM Eagles
What a difference in ride quality and noise!! The Goodyear Eagle LSs' that came with my car were horrendous! You will enjoy the Contis if you mostly cruise on highway and city...but would not recommend if you are looking for a high performance tire.
