Takes only five minutes to install as opposed to tedious retro fit of bluetooth module from later cars. Functionality is nearly the same...the puck system wont import your adress book, so you train phone with voice for twenty entries. Also, no caller ID on MMI screen.

But it is voice dialed by entry or numerals, mutes radio on incoming or outgoing calls, and is hands free over the speaker system via Onstar mic.

I have used the puck for five years in my 04 and its fine.

Where can you get the bits for that though? Is it possible to wire a BT puck direct to the cradle harness without getting hold of the expensive boat anchor tech that is the V60 cradle?
