Andrewbrion, thanks for posting, welcome, hate that your insurance company sucks (what ins company, anyway?). Is the car actually black ? (looks blue in pics).

Yep, it is black. My insurance company is Auto Owners. They provided a very fair buyout price. $18k + $1k in sales tax. They also offer to "sell" me the salvage car for $5,600. Minnesota law requires a salvage title if the estimate is 80% of the FMV i believe.

Yes, I sold the car to the insurance company since they totaled it out. They took it to Copart auto auction and it sold for $7,000.

Whoever bought it from the auction listed it on craigslist.

It was a great car!
