Hey I purchased another A8L only think Is its located in Texas ! does anyone on here do car transport services and can deliver to NYC.

my question is when I do find a transport truck does he have to put the car on jack mode or trailer mode not to pop the airbags.

Trailer mode is for towing a trailer behind car--not what you want. Jack mode is so compressor doesn't keep trying to level the car--probably what you do want. There is also a transport mode to put it to sleep electrically, but you need VCDS for that--and knowledge of how to set it.

Mine came from Arizona to Florida strapped by the wheels.
probably the safest and most popular option nowadays.

Most shippers do that now to not have any damage liability hooking to suspension components.

It is worth noting I had a rim damaged by rub from strapping the tires, so that it's done properly is important.

I was just a bit worried I know the shocks on this thing are really moody and like to be treated a certain way. On my current one I change both front ones. This one I bought sight unseen. 2006 A8L 62k miles.
