Acc/Start Auth Module S/W Coding
I'm trying to understand how to work out the S/W coding for the Start/Access Authorization module (J518) in a 2007 S8.
The VCDS tool displays a information pop-up when you hover over the S/W coding entry however I can't work out how to 'add' up the different features/options, it's different to the typical setup where each corresponding bit (or bytes) equate to a specific option.
This lists each option (for example as:
+0000512=Japan/South korea.....
+1024=Comfort Function....
and so on, any help/guidance would be appreciated!
