Have not cycled the pump yet, I'm hoping I caught it early enough that all is still well....
This is really not necessary. The connector for the compressor is near the bottom edge of the wheel liner. Pull off a screw or two and you can get your hand under there and just disconnect. So you know for next time.

Someone should start a threat with images on how to open the trunk of an A8 with a key. Or, atleast a "audiworld for dummies"-section? LOL
Good thing you said "5-56(oil)" without the oil at the end 556 means something completely different in the US. I would have to be very, very angry to use 556 on my A8.

Owners manual shows this. If you don't have, buy one. Who know what other features on the car you are not utilizing. If you have the manual; well........

Apparently you are not a gun guy. That was humor. Thanks for the info.

Not a gun guy. But my son is. I recently went to a rifle range with him to shoot a new, never before fired M1. It was made in 1943. What a sound it makes!

Nothing makes freedom ring like an M1!

Mine is always a fan favorite at the range.

OT: Here are a couple photos related to the M1 mentioned above. I never heard anything that loud. Even compared to when we fired a Thompson M1928 Chicago Typewriter/Tommy Gun and a Sig Sauer 716 in Vegas awhile back.

Very nice!

I got to dig mine out of the safe, I don't think I've shot it in over a year.

M1's are loud.

M4 with 10.1" barrels are painful. I made the mistake of firing one without ear protection in once, my ears rang the rest of the day. I was worried enough to go to the insta-care.

I had been firing it suppressed, and thought to myself... "How loud can it really be?"

Ever stand next to a Top Fuel dragster when it takes off? That's noise on an incomparable scale. You can feel it in every fiber.
