Akoya Silver
I'm ordering a 05 A8 in either Atlas or Akoya silver but all the dealer has on Akoya is a small paint chip which is not big enough to really see the color. Does anyone know if Akoya is a neutral silver or does it have a blue tint to it.

The cars I have seen have a blue tint - at least to my eyes. I have the Atlas Gray and have recieved a lot of positive comments on the color. Enjoy the car & post pics when you get it!

Akoya Silver - depends on the lighting
It is silver with a very light blue/purple tint in the sunlight. It looks different when it is overcast (more silver).

It has a lavender tint. Click on my account number and look at the pictures on the picture psoter. They are all Akoya Silver. I personally think it's a terrific color.
