Default alarm sometimes goes off when I open a door...
regardless of whether or not the door was locked; quits when I hit the 'unlock' button on the key. Anyone ever had the problem or read a thread about the problem and know the cause and solution ?

No, when I started having this trouble I replaced the alarm with one that had a new battery; just in case the alarm was the problem.

All doors or just driver's door? If all doors, could be any one of several control modules....codes would likely tell you which one.

All doors. I will try to get someone to check for codes....it needs to be done with a VAG COM ?
