I’m trying to get the bovee tuneair2 3000 to work with my Audi A8, I’ve done my 5570 latest update and no hope so I’m hoping that this will make it work

If you've updated your MMI with the 5570 files then your AMI should already be up-to-date as 5570 contains the 0850 version of the AMI code.
Use the info. in thread entry #40 to see how to use the 'Red Menus' to check your device code levels ...
However, thread entry # 65 has a download that still works.

I thought the same when I updated the mmi, I’ve got 3 original cds and I did 1 by 1 step by step and all updated fine. When I go to the version section it does say that my version is 5570. I’ve read something that the second cd is a Bluetooth update or whatever and I need to burn it twice is that something that you’ve heard ?
The only reason I’ve done it is to be able to plug in the bovee 3000 Bluetooth adapter, everyone who I spoke to said if you updated to the 5570 latest version you will be able to use it but it doesn’t power up at all. I have the ami to iPod cable and that works but my bovee adapter doesn’t. I’ve tried it on my friends Audi A5 and it works perfectly as it should.
What would your suggestion be ? I’ve ordered the ami to usb so I can flash the firmware on it. Do you reckon I should try to update it or what else can I do to make it work?
thanks
