There's been lots of talk about sat. radio & t.v. tuner availability, but almost a whole week without discussions on MMI issues! I guess everyone is busy scheduling their vehicles for the software upgrade =)
My "Monday Topic" is something I found, purely by chance. Many of you are probably aware of it's existence, however, my last couple cars (MB & Saab) did not have such a feature. It's small, and seems rather insignificant - that is, until you find yourself staring into the sun! If you look closely, up behind your rear-view mirror, you will find a third sun visor. If you ever find yourself driving directly into the sun and find that the glare is just to the inside of the regular sun visor, this little mini-visor is a lifesaver.
So, have a good week everyone - Be careful out there!

I like those too...
My teenage daughter is the one who originally discovered them :-) I guess it's a girl thing!
Much easier to use the mirrors in my car, than in Randy's - his visors kinda vibrate under power, so you have to keep a hand on the mirror to steady it. I've learned to touch-up my lipstick after we arrive!

Gina, your feature sleuthing continues to amaze me...
I thought I knew everything about my car. (I'm one of those goons who reads manuals cover to cover when I buy a car). Guess this feature slipped by me due to my initial giddiness at finally getting the car last year. Thanks for the post. Yet another thing for my twin boys to pull on, twist, and get greasy fingerprints on. Lucky me.
My car is in the shop today gettin the MMI/Nav update, XM satellite, and a replacement V60 phone. I'll check out the features of my loaner Pontiac Bonneville and post any cool little things I find to rival your A8 postings :-)
Safe driving.

Good luck with that Bonneville :)
I'll be interested in hearing your feedback on the XM addition. I'd really like the Phatnoise, but I'm ready to accept the fact that it will probably not be a viable option in the near future.

In fact, my parts guy told me this a.m. that on top of the fibre optic issue....
there is signal interference between sat radio and phatnoise and they may not be able to do both because of the interference problem...
