A8 vs Deer.... Deer won. Impact shredded the timing belt so she's a goner. Will be parting her out in the near future. Anyway I'll settle with driving the S8 for now.
FYI Im actively looking for a replacement D3, 05 up, good condition or needs a little TLC, I'm open to what's out there. If you guys have any leads let me know.
I'm guessing insurance totaled the car? How much (realistically) would it cost to get it back running?
Since I have an '04 - I didn't even bother with comp and collision on my insurance (pay only $30 per month). I almost hit a deer every time I take a drive around here. A miracle I haven't slammed one yet (knock on wood).
