Any suggestions where to hide a spare key?

Any suggestions where to hide a spare key?
I'm trying to find a good spot to hide the little plastic emergency key on the outside of my car. Has anyone found a good key hiding spot on the car that wouldn't accidentally get knocked off during an automatic car wash, or likewise?
According to my wife, I'm so bad at keeping track of my car key, I need to get one of those retractable strings that attaches to your belt (and she's not too far off the mark).
