Anyone ever replace MMI interface?

Someone has been playing around in menus they shouldn't! At this point the only solution is to purchase the genuine Audi software update discs for your car and follow the update procedure. You can not back out of that menu once entered. Your local dealer should have them or be able to get them for you, or you can order them online. Just make sure you have real update discs, a lot of less reputable online sellers have copies that have a risk of completely destroying your MMI. Do a search on the forum for the update procedure. This site will tell you what part number you need for the update disc, depending on your location. Get the most recent update, which for America is 4F0998961, available on ECS for $38.

The darn green menu that people keep asking me how to turn it on. It's a death trap for MMI. I only turn it on the get my menu back after software updates.

The Transporter
I have a copy of the MMI software (4610 US) discs available for download at my archive, but not the 55xx (if its that? Somewhere in 5000s) for European edition. That is what it is asking for. ltooz is right, it's a trap. Hit that Bootloader option and boom, it (presumably) wipes the bootloader and demands an install disc with the image.

I told you. The dealer or hunt around online. And you posted this in the wrong forum if you have an A6. Feel free to show some degree of initiative or my advice is take it to a dealer and have them fix it.
