Aston-Martin Rapide - What do you guys think?
The article in Auto, Motor und Sport starts "Announced by Porsche, built by former Porsche eingeineering director and Aston-Martin boss Ulrich Bez: A four door coup? with a the lines and contours of a pure-bred sports car....."

The car being displayed at the NAIAS in Detroit is currently a concept but if enough interest is shown then it could go into production within 36 Months.

Re: Aston-Martin Rapide - What do you guys think?
When I first saw the picture of the Rapide on autoweek.com, my eyes almost popped out of my head. I've never seen a four-door sedan look so stunning and so similar to its coupe brother, although the Bentley Silver Spur comes close. In comparison, the Mercedes CLS looks like it was designed by a team of elementary school students with crayons. Performance will be quite good: supposedly 0-60 in 4.6 secs but the price is prohibitive at a rumoured $190K.

Very interesting concept...
I love the new DB9 and V8 Vantage. My only issue with the Rapide is that it's more of a streched DB9 and not a modern iteration of the Lagonda sedan that aston really needs in their line up.

I remember the Lagonda. Turned me into a drooling teenage boy.
Or maybe I was in my twenties by then...
