Atlas, I have noticed you have some pretty strong feelings about
tires ie P-rosso's etc. I'm curious, if you were getting a 275/20/35 tire, what would you get?

Good timing to ask actually...
I'm looking over TireRack ordering tires now lol.
For the 19's I'm sticking Bridgesone RE040's back on. (I have been extremely impressed with these tires)
For my 20's I'm hung up between Yokohama AVS Sports, Conti CSC2's, and P Zero Rosso's. Not much to choose from in this size. The Yoko will be the better performing tire but has very low tread life. The Conti is an ok tire with better than avg. tread wear for this type of tire but not the best performance characteristics. The PZero would be a good compromise but like most Pirelli's will become very loud halfway through the treadlife.

Exactly what I'm doing too. I'm surprised how few choices there are. I know Yoko's have awesome grip but don't last. I am between the PZero's and the Yoko's. I'm thinking I'd rather have to replace them rather than have loud tires in 6 months.

I've always ended up replacing Pirelli's before they are completely gone.
I'm not in a rush for the 20's so I may just hold out since the wheels are somewhere in the Atlantic on a freighter.

I just got my wheels delivered today so I'm anxious to
get them on. I don't drive all that much so I might be okay with the Yoko's. They have the best looking tread out of all the tires anyway. Do you know any tire wholesaler's or are you going to go through tire rack?
Oh, and I am very impressed with my Potenza's too. If they came in 275/35/20's I'd get them again for sure!

Tirerack is usually the cheapest route...
I called a few wholesalers and all I could find locally in 19 were the Kuhmo 712's for $349 each (INSANITY!)
The car has been sitting all weekend because I found this on Friday afternoon.

Just shy of 22k miles on the Bridgestones (I think thats a record)

I got F-Metal 2's
Couldn't find a good enough deal so I became a distributor for a few wheel companies. If anyone wants wheels, I can get just about anything for about 35% below retail. I saved almost $2700 on one set of 4 wheels!

http://www.fmetalwheels.com/main.html</a
