Not sure why you want this information. I believe it is all logic level signals.

Use VAG-Com software to troubleshoot.

You need to pull a vacuum and then the refrigerant will quickly enter the system and cause the switch to activate the valves in the compressor cauzing the prescribed amont of refriverant to fill thr circuit.

This assumes you use a specific measurement of refrigerant.

You need the service manual for the vehicle.

Read this thread or this post.
Read them well and don't guess or short cut steps, find the real culprit, it's a complex system.
Cheers,

I've got the same fault code - "00819 Open or Short to Plus." I think this might be a connector issue. This looks different from the other 00819 fault codes. Maybe a broken wire somewhere? I've got a new G65 sensor on the way, the Hella sensor I have might be bad. When I installed the Hella sensor the fans run whenever the engines runs, even if I turn the A/C off.

Louis, you think an open short to plus error will also be fixed with proper refrigeration and correct install of G65, even though you were seeing a different 00819 code.?
