Audi Pure Protection extended warranty - best price on it?


Having owned a Volkswagen Phaeton I have seen the value of a extended warranty and would expect that it would be a good investment in a A6 or A8 purchase.

I am currently looking for a 2006 or 2007 low mileage A6 or possible a A8 but would want to have the Audi Pure Protection extended warranty (platinum level care) added to the purchase or buy it outright from another Audi dealer. This Audi Pure Protection extended warranty is simular to the VW Real Driver which is administered by FIDELITY WARRANTY SERVICES. I had good luck on my Phaeton with them.

Does anybody on this board know of a dealer who will sell for a fair market price the 4 year / 100,000 mile coverage and if so what the cost is on a vehicle with under 20,000 miles.

I have a long post about my warranty buying experience. I bought Audi Platinum coverage from a dealer in New Jersey I think. It's all in the thread. I got a great price and they were great to deal with.

Are there some dealers who sell the Audi Pure Protection Plus Platinum at a discount. Who are they. Buying a 2008 A8 with 24,500 miles on it. 9 months remain on factory and then 2 year / 50K warranty.

You may want to check Continental Audi dealer in Naperville, Illinois online for starters but advertised discounts elsewhere are rare. This dealer offers "We offer a Best Price Guarantee!" check the finance section.
But you may and should be able to honestly negotiate one from any distant dealer on the phone by your own solicitation.

i did that on my Phaeton and got it for about 1,850.00 Thanks for the advice on calling around for the best rate to Audi dealers. I assume its basically the same as the VW Real Driver warranty managed by Fidelity of Ft. LA[U]DERDALE, FL

Just bought Audi Platinum from the same dealer I bought it from last time. $3200 for 3/36 with $250 deductible. It's higher than last time, but that seemed like the sweet spot for the price.

Dealer is Burdick Audi in Cicero, NY.

Hi - I'm a new 2004 A8L owner (last night) and just discussed the pricing options with the VW dealer where I bought the car. For 48 months, 48,000 miles they first quoted me $5200+, then lowered it to $4225. For 36mo 36,000 miles they quoted me $3225. That was for the platinum protection with $100 deductible. Car has 44,000 miles on it. I called a place on the internet and they wanted $3900 for 48mo 60,000 mile coverage with $100 deductible. Hope this helps.
