Auto trunk retrofit
I found myself a S8 trunk lid a while back and in relation to that I also scored a motor unit for the lid on ebay so I put together a DIY for the installation. I know plenty of people consider the motorized trunk to be crap but I always thought it looked pretty cool and I got the parts for cheap so I figured I'd give it a try. Here's the writeup anyway

I don't want to get into a big diagnostic session, but if you are unable to open any PDF's at all, try downloading the latest version of PDF Reader (it's free). That would indicate it's an issue with your client. Hope that helps.

Enjoy the power trunk while it lasts It is nifty to show off to friends if they just perfected the latch lock and didn't have it electrically lock, rather just open and slam the good old way.
