AUX input - options?

AUX input - options?
The only feature I dont seem to have on this car is an auxilary input. I am looking for opinions and options that i have to get my ipod to work. I dont need it to appear on the screen, just a good way to hard wire into the stereo. I hate fm transmitters and want to avoid if possible.
i would be interested in understanding how I can do this? also, depending on cost, how I might add the aux/ipod input to get theMMI to display the ipod.
any other options I might have?
