Wrong there, all D3:s i've seen have had the aux heater installed, and i've seen dozens of them. The european w12 and s8 v10 have it as standard in most countries, even germany.

And about not fitting the NA w12, it fits as well as to the european, even the european has an heat exchanger below the right headlamp, and the aux.heater still fits there.

Tough, you are unable to fit an electric water heater to the W12, atleast without a circulation pump, because the w12 has both radiator hose connectors on top of the engine block, so the electric heater would only heat the hoses without a circulation pump (i was about to do that to mine).

Mercedeses are good objects to fit electric heaters (have fitted around 400 electric heaters to sprinter and vito vans, to a,b,c,e,g,gl,ml and s-series cars). Most of these, except the a and b series and gas engines and V-engines have a plug in the engine block to screw in a electric heater, the a+b series gas engines get a oilpan heater and the V-engines get a hose heater at the lower radiator hose.

Had an electric heater in my Volvo 360 (volvo B200F engine) and that heated the engine to 60-70degrees celcius even at -20degrees in less than an hour. I hope i could install one of these even to my audi, but I don't like the idea of drilling and threading a hole in the lower end of my W12 engine block's waterchannels.

My idea would be to install an oil-pan heater, that is glued onto the bottom of the oilpan, not as efficient as the water heater, but will do the trick, tough the webasto aux-heater is much faster.

Thanks for quick reply. Looking at ETKA i see the T70 remote works on >>4E-4-030 000 and T90 works on 4E-5-000 001>>. My VIN is WAUZZZ4E64N019598. My heater unit is 4E0 265 105 L and Heat Exchanger Housing for Coolant Circuit is 4E0 819 953 C.

I have tried the VCDS procedure but nothing happend. Also tried with removing the battery for 5 mins and no success as well.

If anyone interested i have a webasto remote Audi T90 4F0909507B. Great condition but will not fit my car. Fits newer model after 2007 year like A6 and A8.

I got the T70 and works flawless with mine.
