bad brake light switch symptoms
Anyone have a brake light switch replaced? If so what were the symptoms? I'd been having intermittent problems starting the engine and losing power.

It intermittently wouldn't crank, with either the start engine button or the key in the lock.
Pressing the stop engine button would temporarily fix it.
Also had intermittent problems with losing power on turns and starting from traffic lights.
So far, these things haven't shown up again since they replaced the brake light switch.

Re: I had the same cranking problem with mine. It wouldnt!
brake lights coming on automatically even when the car was parked overnight.
no power when trying to give gas
esp/abs light coming on
replaced brake light switch.....problems gone.

I have the same symptoms that you described esp/abs light on
no power when trying to give gas intermittent problems starting the engine car stalls at stoplight or while driven its wont go any further tell i stop the car and start it agian to get keep going i haven't replaced yet
