Default Buy now or wait for fall?

I think I have a pretty good deal in the works. Its essentially $6300 off an $83K list. I can buy now or wait a few months to see how much prices fall when 2008 models arrive.

For those of you who have seen the annual cycles, do current model prices significantly drop when next year models are introduced?

expect that discount to about double in a few months for an 07. then again, that just about equals the lease payments or loan payments if you buy today, plus not many around by late summer.

Yeah, that's part of the problem. The dealers in this area never seem to have much in stock, and when they do, esp the color combo I like, they go fast.

Default Ibis white, amaretto

Ive been an SUV guy for 10 years. Went to test drive the Q7. Saw a white/amaretto A8L in the showroom and thought, man I should drive a car.

60 days later I have one sitting in my garage.

That is one beautiful machine.

Default Even more so with AFS...

coming back with a .00141 money factor on the lease.

Funny thing is that I was also looking at a 2007 SWB base model + prem package w/ 4500 miles that had been cycled out of their loaner program. Very clean car and 18K less. But since it wasnt "new" the residuals and money factor (even with private banks) pushed the payment a couple hundred a month higher than what Im paying for this almost completely loaded A8L.

Congratulations! I hope you enjoy the car.

One of my neighbors got a new LS460 the same time I got my A8L. He's kicking himself for not having tried the Audi first. He thought the self-parking was cool, but is now so frustrated with it that he never uses it.
