Can the "A" phone cradle be rewired to work as "B"
Does anyone have pinouts for the "A" and "B" v60 phone cradles?
Is the cradle just a "dumb" device for making connection between the car and phone or is there some "logic" going on in there? Seems to me the former and if it is only an issue of power supply to one of the pins(?) between "A" and "B" then a conversion should be possible to save some $$...
Where can I find pinouts?

I've taken them apart before.....there are a lot of circuits inside them, not that easy
You guys should figure out how to retrofit the real bluetooth system to your car....probably be about $1,000.00 or so.
I have it in my D2 and absolutely love it!

PaulW,
I was thinking..my late 05 A8L (factory bluetooth) has the V710 cradle. If I'm not mistaken, the cradle supplies power and antenna and allows a connection to the car's speakerphone without bluetooth.
It would be sweet to use the cradle to provide antenna and power to a phone in the car - a Motorola Q phone in my case. I envision a power cable and antenna cable somehow wired to the cradle, which is now a $270 dust cover for the phone prep/plate under the armrests.
Any thoughts?

Hey dhza8, just wondering if you were willing to part with the cradle and just stick with the Bluetooth? I could sure use that dust cover.
