Component Protection issue
I recently had my nav system on the 07 a8 replaced with a complete 3g system. I had the following done:
Replaced Screen, Controller, Amplifier, Radio Tuner, 5f Drive, Central Gateway.
I had component protection removed at my local Audi dealer and the message came back in one day!
I went back and had them remove it again last week. THe system was operating totally fine until yesterday. THe sound kept cutting in and out. Now today, I got the component protection message on the screen.
Any idea what gives? The dealer is not able to see any of the new modules when they hook up the VAS system. THey were able to remove component protection from the Central Gateway > Basic Protection.
