Exactly on the LED retrofit.

Notice on the 2015 car from my picture post that the in-board headlight height dimension (nearest the grill) is much shorter than the outer edge nearer to the turn signals?

Real apologies don't have caveats. Politicians and insincere people add the phrase "to anyone who was offended". If you are wrong, you are wrong. I learned that a long time ago.

Yeah, those are knock offs.

D4 headlight housings are not flat on the bottom like D3's.

That LED retrofit is very nice! The 2015 LED design would look absolutely killer on our D3 headlights. Check out the images below, food for thought.

Yeah they are pretty weird, although the D4 LEDs on the D3 are not that bad.

He's done such a great job wiring it all up that the left fog light is out, but the corner marker is on, and opposite on the other side. Would like to see a pic of his dash too. I bet it's lit up like a Christmas Tree with bulb out and headlamp range control errors .

That's the euro spec parking light feature, where you can have parking lights on, on one side only selected by the indicator stalk. It's not normally the fog lamp though as it draws too much power, rather the small 5W sidelight/parking bulb in the headlamp unit, and one of the tail lamps.
