Diamon-Fusion's working great
In the two weeks since I have taken delivery of a new S8, we have had two blizzards here in northern Minnesota. Winter's been a breeze until last weekend.
I had Diamon-Fusion put on the front windshield by the Audi dealer. It's supposed to greatly reduce the chances of rock chips as well as repel rain, snow and ice. And, you are supposed to be able to clean bugs off your windshield with just your wipers/washer.
So far all I can say is that i have never had a windshield stay so clear so easily in a snowstorm.
So far, I'm really impressed!

reduce rock chips??? thats some major advertising bull, sorry to say.
and any good wax will clean off bugs/ bead water.
for that i recommend zaino, its the longest lasting sealant, and many dealers that sell products like diamond-kote or diamond fusion just enjoy mark up for a relatively mediocre product.
Just my 2 cents, i might be wrong.
enjoy your S8! post some pics, its a lovely car.

I had Diamon-Fusion on my 06. I agree the water dispersal properties ..
are excellent though you can get the same effect with Rainex.
You will find they send you a bottle of treatment after 6 months or so which looks and smells just like Rainex to me.
My car picked up several rock chips in 12 months of ownership so I don't think this claim is really valid though I agree they claim it. They offer a warranty and I was too lazy to claim on it though I got the impression they would do an on-site "repair" rather than replace the screen
I did not take this for the S8 but I did install the Roadblock film. Now that works!
