I have an 06 D3 that I bought from California and they do not require a front plate. Here in Ohio they require one. I have the bracket without a front plate and has the chrome strips in front of it. Does anybody want to trade non plate bracket with one made for a license plate?? Ok thank you.

You've probably thought of this, but post a classified here on AW if you haven't already; and watch Fleabay. I got lucky and traded with another member but have seen them for $40-100 on eBay.
If you have a friend going to Europe anytime soon they're considerably cheaper there.

Sorry - I have an '07 center cover (plastic) that has the license area and holes. i replaced it with an '07 that was 'plain'. But, I'm pretty sure mine won't work for your '06.

I also have a set of birch console trim for a D3 in my garage if anyone is interested in that.

It's gotta be from an 06-10 D3. 04-05 have the color keyed bracket. 06-07 had the grey and 08-10 had the black.

Actually your 07 would work since it's grey. 06-07 had the grey. 08-10 had the black. If you want to talk more about it, shoot me a pm. Thank you.
