Does anyone have a confirmed date on when the D3 S8 will start shipping?
Any order guides out yet? Any confirmed pricing?
Will it cost more than the A8 W12 flagship?

Yes, my dealer tells me the process will start in the late spring (am #1 on the list).
I asked if the B&O system would be worth the money and he said no, that it would interfere with the tuned exhaust. The standard audio system will likely be the Bose surround in the A8 lineup.

IMHO, do not ask salespersons about the value of options. Make it YOUR
decision based on someone who might have heard the system, although this might be a bit difficult! MOST of the people selling these cars are not enthusiasts and therefore really dont know the car.

I would agree with that
My salesman was pretty much clueless about my car. When it came to the final delivery, he didn't know what most of the features of the car were and just told me to read the manual.

B&O is rumored to be $7,800...I don't think I spend enough time for that sound system
Unless I'm in the car ALL the time.
Will definitely get the Convenience Package (if I order it) and that's it. The B&O is on the maybe list and the other two don't interest me.

I would totally hit the B&O sound system.... I spent a fair amount of time
at the B&O store this weekend... and i've concluded that I like the sound of the B&O, hopefully it'll be like that in the car.
Now to get Wilson or B&W to put something in a car. =P

i bet! I'm looking to buy a new condo or house by the end of summer
an opportunity to flip my current condo for a good price may be coming my way.
My office will more than likely be decorated with the BeoLab 1.
And then for some heavy hitting B&Ws in the living room. I can't wait.
