Fault Codes?
I have copied the codes that I retrieved from my A8 4.2 Tdi Quattro Sport today.
If anyone could give me any input, before I reset them it would be helpful. the car is going to the dealer next week, (under an extended warranty) and any input would be helpful.
I just seem to be saying thanks to everyone on the forum right now, but the car is very different to my old S8.

So, do you think I should delete the existing fault codes, (as I think I have caused some of them), or just leave it to them?
The warranty is for all electrical and mechanical components, but does not include wiring faults and at £90 ($150) per hour labour charge, I don't want too high a bill from them.

But that's a ton of error codes. How is the car, error warnings all the time? Looks like nothing is working properly.
There's just too many errors with a lot of them being supply voltage, so my bets are that it's the battery on the way out, or something to do with the main power system. Nothing else in the car could have such a wide reaching effect on unrelated systems.

There's just too many errors with a lot of them being supply voltage, so my bets are that it's the battery on the way out, or something to do with the main power system. Nothing else in the car could have such a wide reaching effect on unrelated systems.

Yes, i would tend to clear all the codes and just start fresh. Unless that is, you are trying to get something specific fixed where you want to preserve the related codes and you think they might not come back if you clear them. Your other post about the OBDII port and a few things you mention you think you triggered are all the more reason, at least on those affected modules Don't need false alarm codes if they just clear when you have car back together right.
As a new VAG COM owner, on the first scan you will tend to see tons of stuff, more so even if you were straightening out issues first. Endless power system lower limit exceeded stuff for example in a number of modules that can be as simple as leaving ignition on a lot while playing with the car. Thus, I would just save/capture the whole set, then clear all and see what comes back pronto, plus what incremental codes you have in a few days. Then you have the real areas to focus on for your service appointment. At a minimum clear all the under voltage ones just to get rid of some underbrush; I routinely do that when I know they are just false alarms from leaving key on, lights on, etc.

Yes. That's exactly what I would do, but I would proceed myself.
I believe Audi guys will do the same, but it is still good for them to see it as it is. I don't know how that warranty works. They may be unhappy with somebody messing up with car electronics. Or just use that as an excuse.

I have reset the codes, but the AirBag light is still on.
