Finally graduated from the A6 2.7T and got the A8!

After a lot of heartache trying to find the right vehicle, I just took delivery of a SWB Atlas Gray A8 with Amaretto interior, convenience, cold, seat ventilation, parktronic and 19" wheels.
Evaluated a lot of cars including other Audis, BMW, Jags, and MB (including the E55 AMG). I though the A8 was the most desirable and most complete vehicle. I loved the E55, but the thought of my wife or kids driving it gave me the ******.
Initial comments after mostily freeway and city driving is that it is a supremely stable car that moves deceptively fast while cosseting you in incredible comfort. There seems to be a lot more road noise than I noticed on any of the test drives - could be down to the Pirelli P6 tires fitted to my car (at least I am thankful they weren't the all-season Continentals - I would have asked the dealer to swap those out).
I checked the tire pressure and they were at 43 all around - dealer said that was normal! Audi recommend 30~36 depending on exact tire and axle. I changed to 36 on the front and 33 on the back and noticed some improvement. Be interested to hear what others are running.

Re: Here is the interior since you guys always ask for pictures of the Amaretto
Thanks Hemant! Nice looking car, I can't wait until I get mine and thats coming from someone who is driving an S class benz and who has had 8 previous benzes. I really didn't look at Audi that close until I bought my wife an A4 Cab three weeks ago. If it weren't for all the traveling we do and the space we need I would go out and lease a 3.0 for myself.
