Default front bumper conversion question

Hey guys i have an 06 A8L and hit a tree in the middle of the road recently. I ordered S8 front bumper and grille. It should be an easy swap but im worried about the parking sensors and stuff. i had a shop paint it but i will put it together myself. If anyone has any tips on how take all that stuff apart that would be great. Included some pics of the bumper etc.

I put together a DIY with pics when replacing my grill a while back. Look it up here or go to Audipages and you´ll find it in the D3 section there. If you still can´t find it email me an I´ll send it to you.

THANX Hilden your writeup was very helpfull. So when i tried putting the new fender on i noticed the the bolts dont line up(about half inch off) and the "play pump bracket" (the one that holds the air compressor) was broken. has anyone had any experience with them? will i have to get new parts or can they be bent into place. Also does anyone know a place i can buy the 2 parts at? (dealer quoted me $650 for both)

here are some pics

That compressor bracket can be welded. Just have to take it out and find somebody who can weld aluminum. Cross support can be pooled back to the place. Check measurements from the other side and also use new fender.

It is difficult to help this way. It is regular body shop work (only aluminum). That support has to be back in place. If you can figure out how it was bent try to apply exactly opposite force at the same or very close spot. You may use car jack for that rather than hammer. If something gets cracked in the process it has to be welded. Aluminum again.
