Default Fuel filter replacement -2007 MY

The check engine light came on a couple of weeks ago, and when I ran the Ross-Tech program, the readout indicates the fuel pressure is low. I assume this probably means it needs a new filter - correct???

IF that is the case, what is the procedure for replacing the filter? I've searched the Bentley, and don't find a procedure anywhere - but my searching procedure may not be very good!!

Any help for location of the filter and replacement procedure is greatly appreciated.

PS: Car has 76K miles on it with no indication of a fuel filter change.

Default Been posted here before if you look

Sure, try that. Near the (North America) passenger side rear wheel. Been a while, but I think there was a trim/areo cover that concealed it some. Look for the posts about the frozen attaching fastener if you are in a snow weather area--my CA car 2006 was easy. Be sure you know how tubing fasteners work so you don't break them undoing things. Also expect a faceful of fuel when lines first pulled (it doesn't keep running out though) so have an oil pan near, and avoid the garage water heater type scenarios.

But, also be sober it can be a fuel pump issue. Filter is good preventative maintenance though anyway.

Spray the retainer with a solvent/lube and let soak. Then it should come easier. I think the one I used was called nut buster. The rear fastners are a tab. Rotate and they will clear the post.
This was the typical first time maintenance. Took a couple hours. Next time will be 30 minutes.
