I'm so happy for you, but I think it was your imagination - I've never seen any Audi had bad head gasket since I've owned them, and I did own many.

Cheers,

Louis

I put my way through college as foreign car mechanic. My brother is porsche and audi mechanic. Believe me #2 cylinder would fault every time start after sitting overnight. After a minute would stop missing and idle fine. Was also getting back presure into cooling system and coolant was going down slowly.
Head gasket had very small leak into cooling system.

Well 24000 miles later no leaks or cylinder misfire. Head Gasket sealent worked.
Need to add small amount of coolant now and then but running strong.

Default Update on Head Gasket Sealant treatment

Hello,I am interested to hear how the repair did over time. I have basically the exact same symptoms you had on my 2005 A8 and am seriously considering trying a sealant treatment. Did you have instructions that you followed? Any help would be appreciated.

2015 Audi A8L 4.0 86k miles. Is this considered a failed test for a combustion leak test?

Waterflow, the is just wishful thinking, was there a chance that you sucked some coolant into the tube, it's unlikely since I see that your fluid level is still at yellow line?

Right now that you asked, I am not totally sure it was a 100% clean test. What it makes you think there was some coolant sucked into the tube?
