I'll probably won't want to hear the answer, but why?

Default I don't like being the only person who doesn't understand what this thread is about.

Please educate me.

Thanks

Default Speaking of clips...

Does the A8 have the same problem with front window guide clips that the A6 (2000) had? I've replaced the front window guide clips in that car about 2X on each front door. It's aggravating to say the least.

I've been thinking of tinting the front windows in my A8L but have been hesitant because of the problems I've experienced in the A6 (not tinted).

Default nope, additional pieces.

The car ended up getting caught on a curb and snapped the lower corners of the bumper cover off of the body and broke the vertical connector pieces that keep the lower grill areras around the foglight nice and intact.

I guess I'll be calling some body shops. Fortunately no damage to the sheet metal.

Default Don't know.

One would think they'd revisit all their designs when going to a new car.
