How do you know if you need a MMI upgrade, I have a 2005.5 with bluetooth and so far the MMI has
been working fine but I still want to know if there is a required update. What are the differences between the old and the new MMI anyways. TIA

me too, and it would be great if...
...audi would maintain a website (or other way of communicating) the latest version numbers.
It should be pretty easy to have an interface where I type in my model, year, and VIN number, and the system then tells me the most current revision number for my MMI software. I could then go check this against the version numbers shown on my display, and determine whether I'mm current. This could be accomplished in a simple chart to be published monthly, if maintaining a live website is too much trouble (in fact, if anybody has or can take a stab at building such a chart, i'm sure we'd all be very grateful).
