My car was delivered to me just about empty car said 22 miles to empty

Default I never let it go below 1/4 tank because the fuel pump is cooled by the gas in the tank and leads..
to longer pump life. It might make a difference to me if I buy your used D3 in the future!

Default Has anyone driven 500 miles on a tank of gas?
P.S.- not good to run tank all the way down past say an 1/8. Bad boogey can get in the fuel line, etc.

I've tried really hard and can only get 480. But I think 500 is possible.

Default I got 576 once - all highway driving...I get 370 weekly on the commute to/form work...
I drove mine from Dallas to Seattle 2 years ago just after buying it. I wanted to see how far I could go. Fortunately the NAV system knew the closest gas station in Ca. I was about 100 miles south of Sacramento when the refuel light illuminated on I-5. Not too many gas stations around those parts.
