I am about to move forums - A8 from A6 - TPMS
Does anyone know what type of sensor the TPMS uses on a 2006 A8?
The 'Check tyre pressures' message is displayed and I have read that if the wrong type of tyres are fitted with a too high carbon content, it can block the signal from the sensors so the monitoring system thinks the tyres are low or flat.
Has anyone any experience with this or if you have to reset the system after changing tyres?
