Thanks Guys, I went to look at the D4 today and it is impressive! However I noticed a few issues.
1.) The LCD screen was stuck in the down position with a tiny bit of the screen showing and the salesman had to turn it off and on I believe twice for it to reset back up.
2.) The drivers seat was wobbly when I sat in it, might be a simple fix.
3.) There is a high pitched noise when going over speed bumps.
I told the salesman I will come back tomorrow with my decision, thanks for the advice.

1) The MMI screen needs to be replaced to fix that, I don't think it can be repaired independently. It was a more common problem on the D3 but not unheard of on the D4. It is not cheap, and if unaddressed will soon fail completely.
2) That's irregular, could be loose bolts, I seem to remember a TSB about that but I could be mistaken
3) Probably failed sway bar links, very common, but there are several other possible suspension sources. These cars are all hard on the front suspension.
I wouldn't buy it unless they fix these issues with OEM parts. No need to buy a car with things that need to be fixed off the bat. As far as I can tell, that's a completely unoptioned car, which means it could have been a fleet vehicle of some kind.

If I were given the choice, I would chose the D4 as well. More tech, newer car, better interior, etc.
If it were me looking into getting a D4, it would have to be the 4.0T.
