So true, Lexus means nothing here!
I believe Belgians buy -relatively speaking- the most luxury cars in the world. But there are very few Lexus cars here indeed. Even though that might change a little in years to come.
I don't see too many Phaetons either. Lots of S class and the A8 does seem to be getting more popular.

A Toyota is a Toyota, and will always be a Toyota...
Pretending to be a real luxury brand by changing the name is just silly.

Actually, I'm not sure it is a valid comparison with MB since
the S class includes many models. It would be a better comparison of A8 vs. S430/S500. The A8 may well be outselling its competitor vehicles from MB as well as BMW 7 series.
