It definitely looks like you should have bluetooth with that blank space. That's where the onstar was in my old 2004 A8L and in the 2007 W12 I have a blank space like that too but also have bluetooth.

I could be entirely wrong. It's happened before (Quite often!). I was under the impression that Bluetooth didn't come along until 06'.

Looks like it depends on when your car was made

2005 Model guide on this site (Resources, Model Giude) says that BT became standard and OnStar was deleted in production week 45/04. So, depending on when your 05 was made, you could have either. I believe if you don't have the OnStar buttons, you have standard BT.
